THERE’S NOTHING LIKE BUILDING THINGS THAT CUSTOMERS LOVE.

Aaron Klein’s professional career has been marked as a builder — of companies, of teams, of organizational culture, and of software beloved by customers.

Riskalyze was founded in Aaron’s basement in 2011, and eventually rebranded as Nitrogen after Hg Capital became its majority owner in 2021. As its first CEO, he led the company through 42 consecutive quarters of growth, scaling to serve tens of thousands of financial advisors, and twice being named one of the world’s 10 most innovative companies in finance by Fast Company Magazine. He passed the baton to his successor in 2023, and continues to serve on the firm’s Board of Directors.

Aaron has spoken at conferences and events such as the Fearless Investing Summit, DataDisrupt, Startup Grind, T3, Tiburon CEO Summit, Wealth Management CEO Roundtable, the Benzinga Fintech Awards, Lifesong Celebrate Life, and an untold number of conferences for wealth management enterprises such as TD Ameritrade, Pershing, Carson Wealth, SSG, United Planners, Founders Financial, and more.

Aaron is married to Cacey Klein, and they are parents to an amazing Korean-Ethiopian-American family that consists of Spencer, Emma and Teddy. Together, they cofounded Hope Takes Root, an initiative to use capitalism to change the future for orphans and at-risk kids in Ethiopia. They reside in Eagle, Idaho, and absolutely love it.

Aaron also sits on the board of Mountain States Policy Center, a bipartisan think tank advancing free markets in public policy. Previously, he was elected three times to serve as a community college trustee, serving from 2004 to 2016. Investment News named him one of the industry’s top 40 under 40 executives, and the Wealth Management Industry Awards honored him as CEO of the Year in 2023.
